NSW President of Rise Up Australia Party
I am pleased to announce that I have accepted the position of NSW State President (Interim) of the new and very much needed "Rise Up Australia" Party. I am excited to be part of the founding and establishment of this new political party in Australia at this time of social upheaval and political uncertainty.
There is a real need to keep this next government honest There are elements within the Liberal Party such as the "pink" (homosexual) element that has infiltrated liberal ranks and the Malcolm Turnbull element. The questions that need to be asked are:
How much can we trust the Liberal National coalition, as a whole, to reverse the damage inflicted on Australia by the Greens/ALP government? What would happen if the former opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull challenged Tony Abbott for the leadership of the party in the way Julia Gillard did to Kevin Rudd? Would we see a compromised left leaning Liberal Party that will continue the damage? If we see a Liberal landslide at the next federal election similar to what we have seen in the NSW and Queensland State elections, who will keep the Liberal National Coalition true to their conservative values?
These are all very important questions that lead to one answer.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH
Peter Madden to speak at Melbourne Freedom of Speech Rally - April 27
Christian activist Peter Madden is taking his fight for freedom of speech to Melbourne's Victoria Square on Friday April 27 at 4;30 pm, joining with the newly formed "Australian Christians" Political Party in a rally specifically addressing the increasing suppression of freedom of speech in Australia.
Mr. Madden, who has campaigned publicly to uphold the Marriage Act against the push for homosexual marriage and to safeguard Australia's sovereignty against subversive Islamization, has been slandered and attacked for his stand both in NSW parliament on March 14, in Lismore on March 18 where homosexual activists vandalised his billboard truck and chained themselves to it and in Brisbane's King George Square on March 22 where 500 homosexual activists shouted down a prayer gathering to pray for the Queensland State election, that godly parliamentarians would replace the godless leaders who had pushed for same sex marriage. The extremely loud protesters screamed abuse and blasphemy, calling Madden a hater and a homophobe, banged drums, played sirens and displayed placards denouncing Madden, Christianity and God. NSW MLC- The Honourable Penny Sharpe also joined in the denunciation of Madden's freedom of speech in her adjournment speech on Tuesday March 14 declaring that Madden's message "should have no place here in NSW or Australia". On April 1 Mr. Madden had to cancel his "Atheists Day" rally in Sydney's Hyde Park due to threats from homosexual activists.
Mr. Madden said of his experiences and his fight for freedom of speech:
"Over the last month I have seen first hand just how serious this issue is. Who would have thought 20 years ago that freedom of speech would become so seriously suppressed in Australia that we would need to fight to maintain it."
"It would seem that the socially progressive side of the political divide can say what they like with apparent impunity while conservatives who speak out about the dangers of social engineering and multiculturalism run the gauntlet of ridicule, hate speech and in the greatest irony of all the real risk of lawsuits under anti-discrimination and anti-vilification legislation."
"It is clear that Politicians, supporters of "progressive" political values and even much of the media think it is their right to try to bully people like myself into silence."
"Phobia-phobia is the order of the day. Those of us simply trying to uphold the values upon which Australia has been founded are branded homophobes or Islamaphobes. It is clear that the most intimidating lobbies that manipulate vilification legislation and the politically "progressive" concept of "social inclusion" to silence any view contrary to their own are the homosexual lobby and the Islamic lobby."
"It is a sad day in Australia when we have to endure intimidation, bullying and verbal and physical abuse just to maintain the constitutional right to freedom of speech."
"For too long those who try to give voice to the voiceless majority who hold to a Christian viewpoint have been intimidated, ignored and shut down in a nation whose democratic and legal system was originally founded on Christian values and principles."
Mr. Madden will be joining Vickie Janson of the Australian Christians Party and author of "Ideological Jihad", Jenny Stokes of "Salt Shakers" Institute and other Christian leaders to defend freedom of speech. He will both MC the rally and speak out on the subject: "Hold the line! Stand your ground! Don't let the bullies win the day."speech. Athiests Day Rally Change
Please Do Not Come to the Athiests Day Rally.
On Thursday 22nd of March 500 screaming homosexual activists drowned out the prayer gathering that I held in Brisbane's King George Square scaring away most of those who would have attended. The anger and hostility towards me was remarkable. Following conversations with the police and out of concern for peoples safety I am asking people who were planning to attend the rally not to, but to pray from wherever they are. I will go alone to Hyde Park North at 3pm to answer questions and concerns of members of the homosexual community.I would appreciate, however, any Godly men who know how to stand their ground and pray without being provoked or intimidated to stand with me.
The dumping of the ALP in Saturday's historic election by the Queensland people speaks clearly that Australians won't put up with the ALP, or any government, redefining marriage. The Federal ALP will suffer the same fate, because they have presumed they can engineer and defile marriage which is something they have no authority to do. As the homosexual community watch this defeat they may well get very hostile. We need to continue to pray, continue to fight peacefully and with integrity and continue to stand against this wickedness for our children's sake. Thanks - Peter Madden
